*Community Garden Returns
The Community Garden is now entering its 3rd year with "growing" results! If you would like to join our Community Garden, please click here to download an application. All applications entered will be put in a lottery for the twenty plots established in the garden. Lottery winners will be notified the following week. Please call 465-4075 for more information.

- Back by popular demand is our Youth Spring Tennis Lessons. These tennis lessons are designed for residents ages 4 through 11 years old and will begin May 6th. Click here to view the youth schedule and application.

Garden City residents can anticipate the arrival of the community wide Recreation and Parks Need Assessment Survey between April 12th and 15th 2013.
This is your opportunity to express your individual needs, attitudes, opinions and behaviors toward village leisure services and facilities.

*Miniature Golf is Now Open!
Our beautiful 18 hole miniature golf course is now open! Located in the heart of Community Park this course will excite people of all skills and ages. Stop by and play a round! For more information on Miniature Golf or to book a birthday party or group event please visit our Miniature Golf section.
*New Parent and Me Squirts Classes Introduced
In association with US Sports Institute we are happy to off new program specially designed for resident children ages 2 - 3 years old to a variety of sports, games and group activties all with the help of Mom or Dad! In the upcoming months our department will be converting to a new recreation software that will help improve our registration process for all residents of the Village. *Village Markers Section Introduced!
To call attention to the extensive history of Garden City, the Village has installed Historic Markers at various locations and is in the process of adding more. As part of the project, a Markers page has been established to provide more information on the subjects and links to other data sources. The markers will all be provided with QR (Quick Response) codes to allow those interested to access the Markers page directly by photographing the code with a Smartphone app. The Markers page can also be accessed now by visiting our Village Markers page.
The Department of Recreation and Parks have been busy planning a variety of activities for our residents to enjoy during the upcoming months. We hope you will join in with the many other residents of Garden City who take part in the programs and activities we provide. We realize the amount of options to choose from, we worked extra hard to make our programs worthy of both your time and participation.
