This program introduces the Olympic sport of fencing to children in grades K-8 in a safe, structured, and engaging environment. Fencing fosters discipline, focus, agility, and sportsmanship, making it an excellent complement to youth development. All equipment provided. $375 per child.

Co-Ed Flag Football Clinics taking place on Friday evenings, May 15th - June 19th for Grades K - 5th. There are two groups. Group 1: 4pm-5pm. Group 2: 5pm-6pm
Little Medical School
Hands-on Stem Program for boys and girls taking place on Thursday Evenings, April 30th - June 11th for kids ages 5 -12. Classes are 4:30-5:30pm.
Adult Pastel Class

The Garden City’s Department of Recreation and Parks will offer an adult art class this Fall. This ten-week (9/11 - 11/20, no class program will teach the beginner as well as the advanced student the art of painting portraits and landscapes/still-life in pastel from photographs. Arleen Rueth Urban, the instructor for this program, is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America.
Classes will be held Fridays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The cost of this program will be $160. This class is open to adult residents who reside in the Village of Garden City and will take place in Room 110 located at 110 Rockaway Avenue. The first lesson includes a portrait and landscape demonstration. At that time, a supply list is provided. Demonstrations will be available as needed throughout the program. Each student will receive the individual attention required as they move at their own pace and level of expertise. Please use Community Pass to sign up for the class.
