Registration for our growing Roller Hockey programs are underway and open to village residents in Kindergarten thru 12th grade. We also offer a 30 & over adult program. All programs are offered on either Monday or Friday depending on your programs schedule. Register TODAY!
The Garden City Recreation Department will offer our poplar Pee-Wee Sports Sampler program this winter for children ages 4 & 5 who are Residents of the Inc. Village of Garden City. This six week session is for the children to get a taste of the program with longer sessions planned after the holidays. This program has been designed to provide an opportunity to try a wide variety of sports with basic instruction.
This program will take place in St. Paul’s Fieldhouse beginning the week of March 25 and will run for 55 minutes
Registration is underway for the US Sports Institute spring and summer programs. Spring programs include Parent and Me Soccer, Squirts Soccer, Multi Sport, T-Ball, Lacrosse and so much more for residents ages 2-7. Summer programs are for residents ages 5-14 of all abilities and include Soccer, Multi-Sports, Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Golf and much more!

Bricks4Kidz classes build on the popular LEGO bricks to deliver high-quality educational play. Each hour-long class is an engaging experience for your child with a new project each week. Our unique models aren’t the kits you find on the shelves of a toy store. They’re designed by Bricks4Kidz to teach concepts across a variety of subject areas.

Start your day with low impact exercise! Joy Cody has set a program with our senior and beginner population in mind! Classes will take place on your choice of Tuesdays or Thursdays at 9 am at the Senior Center.
Is open to any team comprised of male residents, ages 18 and over. This league is also open to any Village business. In order for a business team to be accepted, a letter from the company must accompany the team’s registration verifying that all members of the team work in that company. All games for this league are played on weekday evenings. The league begins in April and runs through June. Most games are played on Community Park’s Field #3.

Garden City Recreation and Parks is pleased to offer “Crayola” World of Design Art for grades K – 3. This after school enrichment program affords your child the opportunity to use their imagination while being introduced to various art techniques.
Classes will be held on Mondays from 4 to 5 pm. Each class is one hour long and will be held in the St. Paul’s Center at 108 Rockaway Ave. The cost for this program is $140. Space is limited!
Spring session for the popular Mad Science is underway. Mad science is for residents in the grades K-3. The program will run for 6 weeks and begin April 9th. Some of the topics fo r this session is detective science, movie effects, walloping weather science of toys and more. Don't miss the sparking imaginative learning!
Family Time Sundays are underway at the St. Paul's Field House. The field house will be open for "Family Fun" for Village families. This open time provides the opportunity for families to enjoy various gym activities in an indoor environment. Practices are not permitted during this time and children must be accompanied by an adult. The gym will be available for use from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. each Sunday until March 10.

These programs are open to residents of the Inc. Village of Garden City who have graduated high school and their guest. All programs listed are strictly “pick up”.
