Spring Art and Science Splash Program
Create Studio will be hosting an art and science program in cottage 110 this spring! this program is open to residents aged 18 mo- 14 years old. The program will run from 5:45pm-7pm, 4/25, 4/20, 5/2, 5/7, 5/14, 5/16, 5/21, and 5/28. the price for the class is $200 per child for 4 classes or $400 per child for 8 classes. Yankee Game vs. Tampa Bay Rays @ Yankee Stadium on July 31st: $90 gets you ticket, food, soft drinks, & ride to game. There are only 40 spots available for 4th - 8th graders. We will leave from St. Paul's parking lot at 10am. We will return at the end of the game. Pleas sign up at the Recreation Office at 108 Rockaway Avenue. CHESS WIZARDS Spring Session
Garden City Recreation and Parks has again partnered with the very popular “Chess Wizards” to offer after school programs for Garden City children ages 6 through 12 who want to learn the game of chess!
Chess Wizards is a fun way to have kids experience the excitement of chess. Kids will play in mini tournaments, have interactive lessons with chess pros and play cool chess variants like bug house. It is proven that chess enhances cognitive development in children, improves both verbal and mathematical skills, and increases all levels of academic performance! Playing chess stimulates the mind and helps children strengthen skills such as focusing, visualizing goals, abstract thinking, and forming concrete opinions.
Instructors (who are called "Wizards") provide all the materials necessary for your child to participate in the class and no additional purchase is required to attend. All students will receive a trophy, puzzle folder and wizards t-shirt. Come join the fun!!!

Pioneer Sports Volleyball Clinic
Volleyball Clinic: Tuesdays, March 4th to April 8th, 6:30-7:30pm. This program is a learn and play clinic for grades 3-5 at The St. Paul’s Fieldhouse. Cost of the program is $150 per child.
Kids Pickleball Program at St. Paul’s
GC Rec is announcing a Pickleball program for the kids from March 4th through May 1st. It will be 90 minutes of play on all four courts in the field house with a basic intro to the game and rules. We will provide the equipment, and the cost is $100 for 8 sessions. We will need a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 24 sign ups to run the program per day.

Multi-Sports Squirts allows children to experience a variety of sports throughout the program. Our professional coaches ensure that children are engaged in fun, inclusive activities, in a positive learning environment.
Players will have the opportunity to try Lacrosse, Soccer, T-Ball, & Track & Field. In addition to emphasizing the fundamentals of each sport, each activity is designed to improve hand-eye coordination, balance, agility, and movement. Pulse Sports present best-in-class sport camps to children and teens at some of the finest facilities across the nation.
Pulse’s flagship Multi Sports camp is a must for children who are either new to playing sport or for the sports enthusiasts. Our Multi Sports camps, each with a different weekly theme, allow participants the opportunity to play and learn over 12 different sports across a fun filled week of camp.

Led by our experienced coaches, participants will develop the skills needed to play the game of soccer whilst having lots of fun doing so!
· Recreational level players will learn the fundamentals needed to become efficient soccer players, concentrating on their technical development such as passing, first touch, and shooting techniques.
· Travel and academy players will learn more advanced technical skills while also working on the tactical side of the game. Players will develop both their decision making abilities and game strategies in competitive match play situations.

Our NFL FLAG Football programs are no contact, giving players of all abilities a chance to develop their fundamental football skills in a positive, inclusive, and football-accessible environment—no matter their age or size.
Every program will empower youth athletes and instill a lifelong passion for flag football through scrimmages, games, and activities that are engaging and fun for everyone. With the support of the NFL, we will provide a structured opportunity for kids to discover the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendship—both on and off the field.
Players will also receive a FREE NFL FLAG Sublimated Jersey and an official NFL FLAG Belt.

Led by our experienced coaches, players will develop the skills needed to play the game of lacrosse whilst having lots of fun doing so!
Please note this camp is heavily fundamental based and players are pushed to improve technique rather than competing in heavily competitive scrimmages.
Beginner/intermediate-level players will be introduced to the fundamentals of lacrosse. Players will receive lacrosse instruction at a level that will both challenge them and ensure they have a fantastic experience. To ensure optimal learning, all activities are delivered in a low-pressure, yet energetic environment, all the while maintaining the enjoyment factor of being on the field.

Please note this camp focuses heavily on the player’s fundamental skills. All equipment needed for this program will be provided by us; however, players are welcome to bring their own lacrosse stick if they have one.
