The Garden City Recreation and Parks will sponsor a performance of "Charlie Brown's Christmas" on Saturday December 1st at 1pm in St. Paul's Cluett Hall. Plaza Theatrical Productions will delight us with their rendition of this wonderful show. Admission is $4.00 and reservations are necessary by calling the Recreation and Parks office at 516-465-4075.
Back by popular demand is our Mad Science program. Mad Science is for Grades K-3 and will begin November 7th. The program is limited to 18 children and will take place 4-5pm.
We are pleased to once again offer Crayola World of Design Art for grades K - 3. The program incorporates different art techniques while children uses imagination in such topics as "At Home on Mars" and "All Abroad".

Bricks4Kidz classes build on the popular LEGO bricks to deliver high-quality educational play. Each hour-long class is an engaging experience for your child with a new project each week. Our unique models aren’t the kits you find on the shelves of a toy store. They’re designed by Bricks4Kidz to teach concepts across a variety of subject areas.
Join your friends at the Garden City Recreation Player Development Program! This program fosters interclub play, competition and sportsmanship during weekends for 9 – 18 year old resident players. Players should be able to keep a slow pace rally, serve and have a general knowledge of rules to participate.
Tryouts for residents in middle school and younger will be held

The Garden City Recreation Department’s Dance Conservatory Program is pleased to announce the start of registration for its upcoming 2018-2019 season! Director Felicia Menig, along with the rest of her staff, are excited to start off another fantastic year. The Dance Conservatory offers classes to Garden City residents ages 3 ½ years through adult which are non-performance based. Age is determined by the start date of the desired class. The Schedule and fees for this year’s youth classes are as follows (all classes are 55 minutes long unless otherwise noted) Director Felicia Menig, along with the rest of her staff, is excited to start off another fantastic year.
