Requirements
To join the Garden City Pool, you must be a resident of the Inc. Village of Garden City
Membership Categories
Family Passes - Resident families of the Inc. Village of Garden City are eligible. Family season tickets include only immediate members (one or two adults and their unmarried children under 25 years of age) residing at the same address as a single housekeeping unit.
Family of Two - Two resident family members residing at same address. If one of these is persons is under the age of 13 the other must be over 18 years of age; i.e. parent and child or two siblings.
Senior Citizen Couple Passes - An adult couple who residents in the Inc. Village of Garden City, living at the same address as a single housekeeping unit with and either applicant will being 65 years of age or older before July 1, are eligible for this reduced rate. Proof of age is required (Medicare card is not acceptable).
Individual Pass - An individual who is a resident of the Inc. Village of Garden City and who is 13 years of age or older is eligible. Applicants under 18 years of age must attach a letter of permission from a parent or guardian to their pool application. An individual ticket does not entitle any other member of the individual member’s family to use the pool or its facilities.
Non-Resident Caregiver Pass - If you employ a non-Village resident as a caregiver for a member of your family, you may apply for this category for your caregiver. This ticket is a restricted membership, and holders of this ticket will only be admitted to the Pool while in the company of the resident pool Member that they are employed to care for.
Individual Senior Citizen Pass - If you meet the above requirements for individual membership and will be 65 years of age or older before July 1st, you are eligible for this reduced rate. Proof of age is required (Medicare card not acceptable).
School District Family - FAMILIES THAT ARE NOT RESIDENTS OF THE VILLAGE OF GARDEN CITY, BUT WHO RESIDE WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GARDEN CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND MEET THE FAMILY REQUIREMENTS ABOVE ARE ELIGIBLE. THE E-Z PAY OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THIS CATEGORY!

NOTICE TO ALL APPLICANTS
- The Village of Garden City reserves the right to reject any application containing a false statement and may deny membership for the season.
- No cash will be accepted with the application. All checks and/or money orders must be received with the application at the time of registration.
- In rejecting an application, the Village will retain $20.00 of the applicant’s fee as a reasonable cost for processing the application.
- Season Passes may be revoked at any time without refund if secured by means of a false statement on the application form.
- Passes will be revoked if presented by anyone other than the person to whom issued. Season passes are non-refundable.
- Passes may be revoked at any time for failure to comply with all sanitary and safety rules, as well as regulations as specified for administration of the Pool facilities.
- No refunds will be made after the opening date of the Pool.
- Guests MUST be accompanied by the resident(s) who signed them in at all times. We DO NOT have a daily fee for residents who have opted out of joining the pool OR any unaccompanied non-residents.
- The Village of Garden City reserves the right to add or modify regulations as deemed necessary by the Pool Management
- Due to the large number of applications received, processing of applications takes a minimum of two days.
- Completed Pool Passes will not be mailed back to applicants. Completed passes can be processed at the Pool Photo Center by any adult family member.
- The Village assumes no responsibility for personal property. Jewelry, wallets, and other articles of value should not be brought to the Pool.

- All applications should be mailed in to the Recreation Office at 108 Rockaway Ave.
- If you have any questions regarding the Pool or about your Membership Application Brochure, please call the Pool Office at (516) 483-1714, during regular business hours, Monday-Friday prior to opening day. After June 10, 2023 the Pool Office is open the same hours as the Pool.
- If you are a Garden City resident and have not received a pool application please stop by the Pool Office.
- No photocopies or facsimiles of application allowed.
