About the Garden City Tennis Center!
The Garden City Community Indoor Tennis Center is open year round. Our beautiful facility consists of four Har-Tru Tennis courts located behind the swimming pool complex at Community Park. Village residents can purchase seasonal court time by calling the Recreation Administrative Office at (516) 465-4075. For the latest, in open court time availability, please call the Community Park Clubhouse at (516) 483-2525.

Adult Tennis Lessons
Adult Tennis Lessons at Community Park - Fall session
The Recreation Department offers adult tennis lessons for all abilities. Sign up interest sheets for these lessons will be available on the Recreation website: gardencityrecreation.org and in the Recreation Office as of Friday, September 23. Those residents who are interested in taking the adult tennis lessons must fill out the interest sheet and return it to the Recreation Office at 108 Rockaway Avenue with the lesson fee check. Adult Lessons will begin the week of October 9th.
Women's Tennis League
If you are interested in joining one of our popular weekday tennis leagues, please contact Steve Espey at the Community Park Clubhouse, (516) 483-2525. League play occurs during the months of September to May during the hours of 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The leagues are a great way of meeting people and getting exercise in a fun environment!
Clubhouse
Be sure to stop at the Community Park Clubhouse next to the Tennis Center to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea before or after play and enjoy the company of fellow residents. The building is equipped with changing rooms, restrooms, showers, a 52 inch cable Plasma TV, and vending machines.
